Name: Charlotte Keller
Aliases: None
Species: Maine Coon cat
Birthdate: 14 October 1898
Age: 29
Height: 5' 6”
Weight: 152lb
Build: Somewhat stocky, with thick fur. Somewhat well muscled due to her job.
Origin: Thomasville, NC
Languages: English, though with a few spatterings of German (Prussian) and Irish, which (especially German) are only rarely used.
Occupation: Locomotive fireman for Southern Railway
Ethnicity: German/Irish descent, one set of grandparents of each side, who moved to US in the late 1860s.

Eyes: Orange
Hair: Dark grey with black stripes; tied into a short ponytail.
Scars: 7” gash in left forearm from minor work accident; small tear in middle of tear from breaking it years before.
Fur/Markings: Light grey/silver, dark stripes on back/tail.
Attire: Overalls/flannel shirt typical of railway workers.
Accessories: Heavy gloves, those boiler controls get hot! She also has a watch, railway hat, and a leather coat for winter, as well as a water flask.
WOC: Her coal shovel.
Appearance: Charlotte is of average height, with a somewhat bulky build. She is fairly well muscled, due to her labor intensive job, although she has slight belly pudge. She has a roundish face, with two or three dark stripes on each cheek. She has similar stripes all over her body, except her belly and chest, which are a light grey.
Personality: Being among the lower classes of society, Charlotte has had plenty of unhappy times throughout her life. As such, she's not exactly the most cheerful person, though she's not a perpetual frowner either. She enjoys her job, and tends to be wary around those she doesn't know. Overall, her she has but a few friends, namely the locomotive crews she works with, as her job means constant travel, though usually returns to home at least once a week.
Special skills: Will sleep through just about anything; can keep a coal bed of the right depth and an even spread, even when half of the bed is being sucked out the stack when the engineer throws open the throttle on a hill.
Weaknesses: Had her tail broken years before, leaving it very sensitive to pain; being a woman and this is the 20s, she is not likely to be promoted to an engineer, though is still happy to be the fireman.
Fears: If anything were to happen to her sister; boiler explosions (Who doesn't?)
Likes: Cool days in fall/winter; calm, quiet nights when on the job; eating til she can barely move; any time her family can have a day out (which is rare)
Dislikes: Summer time due to heat in cab and thick fur, talking to people she doesn't know; anyone hating due to her heritage; overly flavored alcohol.
Religion: Raised as protestant, but doesn't care that much.

History: Charlotte was the middle of three children born to Maeve Rowan, and Martin Keller, and the first to make it to adulthood. Growing up wasn't the easiest of lives to go through, but they managed. From the time she was 12, she had to work in a factory, and loathed every bit of it; it was here that she had broken her tail. During the First World War and since, the anti-German sentiment spread, and in 1918, before the Armistice, her father was killed in a work “accident.” It was clear that it was not, but Maeve didn't dare ask for a real investigation, and no one would listen anyway.

With railways short on manpower, what with so many soldiers overseas, in 1919 Charlotte managed to find a job on a railway, first as brakeman, and then as a fireman from 1924 on, although the meant she and her family were forced to relocate. She quickly realized that she was skilled at the work, and for this reason she was not fired or layed-off when more men were available. Presently, she takes care of her mother and sister, Moira.
Orientation: Strait, or at least leans strait; she doesn't care for even the briefest relationship at the moment.
Love Interest: None currently.
Quotes: --

At the moment the only image of her is this, which I drew 3.5 years ago. Other than the drawing and the name "Charlotte," I had done nothing for her character til this last week. I'll have a new pic of her eventually.

New pic! I decided to shorten her hair. The locomotive is this design, though that drawing shows a rebuilt version, wheras Charlotte's is the original form. http://panzerschreckleopard.deviantart. ... -464354807
