y stats, gun deaths aren't huge in the USA. It's a matter of placement. In the Midwest they're almost invisible. You're talking an enormous nation that's technically a superpower. Deaths make noise. One must calculate that.

I think that no matter what you do. you can never successfully end the sale, production, importation, and transportation of anything. For example, prohibition. Not only was it still sold brewed and consumed, but it helped spark the development of organized crime. I think the same would happen with anti-gun laws. if you were to ban them, not only will they be in the hands of the people who typically commit the crimes. but now the people who use them for self defense would have no way to defend themselves. However, if more people had access to a concealed firearm they may be able to defend themselves or others who were unfortunate enough to be unarmed and then get jumped. For example, in Texas where most people own a gun, the crime rate is rather low. However in the more rural areas where a large concentration of people live, the crime rate is substantially higher regardless of gun laws. so as to sum up this wall of text i created large enough to shadow the Berlin wall. Less anti-gun laws in the country, More in the city, and if you outlaw guns only the outlaws will have 'em. Have a good day!
