My boss does this annoying thing all the time. We had a girl who used to work/live with me who was super weird, I mean like she only showered during the night, she peed in bottles in her room and got it all over the floor so many times that the carpet feels solid, and when she left to go back to Germany she actually didn't tell us but was just gone one day (and she didn't tell the company either, she just stopped doing the work). Anyway, so we occasionally discuss what can possibly have been going on there, and that's when he normally cuts in with "My nephew is an autistic, so I know all about how to deal with these people now."

Seriously, first of all, you just called autistics "these people", so you clearly don't know how to deal with anything. SERIOUSLY.

So, I like to play Words with friends cuz I love Scrabble and to have a lot of games going at once you need to play random opponents. 99.9% of the time this works out just peachy and everything goes well. But NOPE, some people want to start harrassing you with messages. One guy just told me he wanted to be my "daddy." Blujbvchbbfjnb!! WHAT. IS. WRONG. WITH. PEOPLE.

I get really annoyed when people say things like "baby's first time doing/being", like "baby's first time on the boat" when the baby hasn't been born yet. The baby isn't doing anything, so it cannot possibly be baby's first time at anything.

Incoming Stupid First World Problems Rant.

I'm starting to realize a disconnection between me a lot of my gamer friends. So many of the people that I know play games for it's story or narrative. And while that's all fine and good, it kinda irritates me that games that don't have great stories, and are more concerned with gameplay get dismissed. If it isn't some multi-million dollar project that tries to tell some revolutionary story across 20+ hours of gameplay, then it suddenly can't hang with the big boys.

It's kind of insulting to me, since those are usually my favorite games to play. I want something that only the medium can give me, combat that takes time to learn, and rewards you for when finally get it right. That one moment when it all "clicks" and I become better at the game, has kept me more compelled to play a game than any story in any game. Metal Gear Rising drops, and everybody just complains about it being too short. They act as if the game was meant to be played through once, on it's easiest difficulty setting. You get the bulk of your time actually learning how to play the game and getting better at it. I've put over 30 hours into it, and I've still got a ton of hours left until I think I'm done with it.

Ok, thread revival.

Badly acted playing of an instrument. Especially violins and cellos. It irks me. To no end.

Watch a Youtube video. At least learn how to move the bow.

Today in an SAT class an instructor called socialism the opposite of capitalism and Valle Russia a prime example of a socialist courty. I get the feeling that's Wrong...

It also bothers me whenever I ask my parents about socialism and they call it communism light and a system thats better on paper. I know it's their opinion, but they say it every time It gets brought up.

This is actually semi-related to this slightly more happy post, but more suitable for this, and it is actually a few questions aimed at women, specifically women who have experience in being clothed in workwear of all sorts, and also outdoors-type clothing, and a few eye-openers for those who make this sort of clothing.

- Why are the men's trousers always more comfortable than the women's? No, clothes-makers, I DON'T have my waistline under my boobs, and yes, I do want to be able to bend forward without the waist of the trousers digging in to my internal organs when working.

And

- Why are all/most jackets modelled for men (and if they aren't it's hard to get them)? I always have to get a bigger size just to be able to close it over my hips, but then it's twice the size it needs to be over my shoulders. Not practical, safe, or comfortable.

And

- YES THERE ARE WOMEN WHO NEED STEEL-TOE BOOTS. And we need them in our sizes.

As an addition, waterproof clothing. It is all huge. I have the general size of a 13 year old girl. I'm not joking when I say that I could go outside just wearing my waterproof trousers and not be considered indecent because I can pull them up that high and they are a small. My wellies are my shoe size, but there is a massive gap around my leg where they flare out and all the rain falls in. My waterproof coat comes down to my knees. Generally speaking, when it rains I look like the Michelin man.

I'm moving in two days and in addition to all the inherent sadness of saying goodbye and the stress of planning my return, I have literally no idea how I'm going to get my stuff back home without paying through the nose.

It's that most wonderful time of the year! Sleigh bells and Oxford Street Christmas shopping and carols and--

Oh, wait, I mean revision between a basement filled with cadavers and the library.
