I imagine them as alien creatures from a faraway galaxy.

Human.
Always.

Thinking of them as cats takes effort.

@dvorak

I AM!! And glad to be back!

I was very busy for a while there getting a cosmetology license. Also, my life exploded and I was living in my truck for a short bit, then in a barn, and now I'm on an island, a minute off the beach, in a kinda slummy apartment complex where the landlord literally welcomed me by saying "There's only two rules 1) No Police 2) But nothing like crystal meth either, weed is fine".

It's been a ride, I tell 'ya.

I can't really imagine the characters of the comic as anything but cats. "Cats" here refers to the humans of the Lackadaisy universe, which evolved from felines instead of primates. Obviously, they would still call themselves "humans" rather than "cats," similarly to the way we prefer to call ourselves "humans" instead of "monkeys."

Fun fact: I've lately made a conscious effort to see everyone, including myself, as a humanoid feline in the style of Lackadaisy; it makes me much more comfortable with both myself and others. Suffice it to say that, for me at least, felines are more aesthetically pleasing than primates.

Another fun fact: I'm insane.

Oh dear... I've done it again. Maybe this is a better description of my condition.
