I am introverted and scored high on feelings. I'm shy but not too much

I know this is a zombie thread, but I was just talking about this exact thing with my hubby earlier in the week. I couldn't remember what I had gotten on similar tests that I'd taken in college, but I was sure that I'd likely get slightly different scores now that I'm older. These sorts of things are prone to some fluctuations as it is.

I don't know about that. I'm an INFJ, and I'm super messy and cluttery, but I do enjoy making lists and organizing stuff. But I am not Mordecai-ish at all.

Well now. Totally took this again and got ISFP. You know, like five years later. I'm still super messy and cluttery, and I've totally reached a point in my life where I need lists to function daily. But I, rightly, guessed things had shifted a little. I always felt I was more P that J anyways, but I highly doubted the I and F were going to change much.

INFJ-T. No trait was particularly strong (nothing over 80%) or weak (nothing under 65%). My guess would have been IOTJ, particularly in years past.

::shrugs:: I guess that means something.

INTJ here! My results a year ago before going to college, and now today. Funny how the "J" stat doesn't change at all between them.

And while I'm pretty sure that I'm not Mordecai, I know would be pretty hard-pressed to hold a job position that requires me to be social. So... yeah, I'm basically Mordecai on business, but I'm all bubbly smiling idiot a la Rocky the rest of the time, though only when I'm alone or with close friends. I'm still a bit silly around strangers, just not totally wacky like I often am online.

I retook this recently on a different forum and this is what I got:

INTP
Introvert (25%) iNtuitive (12%) Thinking (3%) Perceiving (6%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (25%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (3%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (6%)

Not much really changed aside from becoming more extroverted and sensing, I think

EDIT: Also took that anger test:

Your Score is: 22
Your Anger level is: Very Low

Which is ironic because I sometimes I feel like I hold in my frustrations and get easily frustrated sometimes lol

Okay, I'll bite.

INTP

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (6%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (16%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

Not quite sure what any of this means...

Has there been an INTP coup or something over here? It seems this forum's crawling with INTPs. I'm one of them. Introvert 56%, intuitive 31%, thinking 6%, perceiving 9% (according to the results I got just now, from the test OP linked to back in 2011).

I think it has to do with the fact that we're on a forum, so there's bound to be some kind of sampling bias based on that. That's why you're going to find a lot more people who score a type like INTP than people who score a type like ESFJ. You just aren't going to find those kinds of people on a forum (but I think you'd know that anyway)

Then again, the results you get from the MBTI test should be taken with a grain of salt because personalities are too complex to be divided into sixteen types (and I don't even think I'm that much of an INTP type lol)

First post in 3 years...

Also, holy crap guys! I'm INTP too. Though I got INTJ once. Guess INT is why I'm going into engineering, haha

Despite getting INTP on this and some other tests, my interests more or less lie in the ahtz, although I do delve a little bit in electronics (mainly the computer, but that's because I need to get shit to work lol). I also think the marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling is the reason why I also sometimes get INFP, so because of the flip-flopping, I might as well just consider myself to be INxP
